Shimla, Nov 15: The leader of the Himachal BJP Legislature Party and former chief minister Prem Kumar Dhumal today charged the V B Singh government with indulging in corruption, atrocities, harassment and vindictive actions against political opponents and bringing developmental works to a halt. Dhumal told reporters after a meeting of district BJP office bearers here that the law and order situation had deteriorated and the Congress had forgotten its election promises.

He said that the Congress manifesto had promised job to one member of each family which had no (no) person in government employment but now it was talking of self employment.

He said that the Chief Minister had claimed that his government had provided jobs to 6500 persons during past eight months and said that the government should release the list of the persons who had got the jobs with their addresses so that beneficiaries could be identified.
