Baripada (Orissa), Sept 23: A bandh in Mayurbhanj district called by the 'Dara Sena', an organisation of sympathisers of Dara Singh based in north India, today evoked no response, official sources said. The bandh was called to protest against the death sentence awarded to Dara Singh in the Graham Staines murder case. Life was normal throughout the district, the sources said. Security was tightened in the district, particularly in the Karanjia sub-division where Dara was active prior to the murder of the Staines and afterwards. Security was provided to churches at Mahuldiha, Karanjia, Thakurmunda and Sarat police station areas. Bureau Report
