No decision on Bofors appeal in SC: CBI
New Delhi, Feb 5: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) today refuted media reports that the investigating agency will appeal to the Supreme Court against yesterday`s Delhi High Court order in the 64-crore Bofors kickback scam.

order in the 64-crore Bofors kickback scam.
CBI sources said a decision about the revision petition in the
apex court will be taken after going through the judgement delivered
by justice J D Kapoor yesterday.
Even CBI director U S Mishra, who is in Gaya today said that a decision in this regard would be taken only after thoroughly examining the order. Mr Mishra said this morning the future course of action would be decided very soon.? In his order, justice Kapoor gave a clean chit to the then prime minister Rajiv Gandhi, then defence secretary S K Bhatnagar and Bofors agent Win Chadha. However, Mr Kapoor held charges of cheating against the Hinduja brothers -- Srichand, Gopichand, and Prakashchand and Bofors company in the Rs 1,437-crore howitzer gun deal.
