New Delhi: After Kapil Sharma, Irrfan Khan has sailed up the same controversial boat, as the municipal corporation has served the actor a notice for unauthorized constructions.

According to a report in TOI, the building- DLH Enclave in Goregaon where the two actors reside has been in the controversy since 2014.

Reportedly, in 2014 complaints regarding illegal constructions were received by the P-south ward office of the BMC. Thereafter, the civic staff in November 2014 issued a notice under Section 351 of the Mumbai Municipal Corporation Act.

A notice under this Act is issued when an unauthorised construction takes place.

In response to the notice, the developer went to the city civil court and was granted an interim relief in December 2014.

However, after the further legal procedure, the corporation issued a notice over unauthorized construction to actor-comedian Kapil for his ninth-floor flat and to 'Piku' star for his fifth-floor flat.

A source told TOI, "A report with regards to unauthorized constructions at the building was submitted to municipal commissioner Ajoy Mehta on September 9. Further action is likely to be taken after Ganeshotsav."

Even the popular filmmaker and social activist Ashoke Pandit expressed his concern over the matter and said that in the past alarms were raised about irregularities in this building (DLH Enclave), however, there was no response from the concerned department officials.
