St Petersburg, May 30: Pakistan has said it needs 10 days time to talk to India for sorting out technical matters relating to the resumption of the Lahore bus service announced by Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on the eve of his three-nation trip. Foreign Secretary Kanwal Sibal today told reporters accompanying Vajpayee on board his special aircraft from Munich that Islamabad's position on the issue has been conveyed to New Delhi.

Referring to the Prime Minister's peace initiative, Sibal said it had been done to create a conducive atmosphere with an intention to help Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf to take action against extremists.

He said Pakistan was yet to respond on the resumption of aviation links announced by India.
