New Delhi, Dec 04: Continuing their boycott of Defence Minister George Fernandes in the wake of Tehelka scam, members of congress, left parties and RJD walked out of Lok Sabha during question hour today when the minister stood up to reply. Leader of the opposition Sonia Gandhi also left the house when Congress leader P R Dasmunsi, CPI(M)'s Basudeb Acharia and RJD leader Raghuvansh Prasad Singh announced they were walking out.
Fernandes was replying to a question by NCP member Sadashivrao Mandlik on joint exercises between the armed forces of India and other countries when the walkout took place.
The opposition members, who were also joined by RPI's Ramdas Athawale and a few others, later returned to the house after Fernandes ended his reply.
