Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Farooq Abdullah has called upon the international community to impose sanctions on Pakistan for abetting cross-border terrorism in India. Talking to mediapersons on Wednesday after inaugurating the modern diagnostic equipment centre at the Government Medical College(GMC), Abdullah said that the international community opposed terrorism all over the world and since Pakistan was supporting militancy in J&K, sanctions should be imposed upon it. Saying that J&K was an integral part of India, he added that the only unresolved issue was of Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) which could be solved through bilateral talks. Expressing anguish over Pakistan's assistance to terrorists in the state, he said that any further Indo-Pak dialogue should address India's concerns. Bureau Report
