Gaza Strip, June 09: The Israeli army today demolished 13 Palestinian homes in the northern Gaza Strip town of Beit Hanun, Palestinian security sources said. One of the dynamited houses belonged to Mussa Sakhawil, a 22-year-old member of the al-Aqsa martyrs brigades who helped carry out a shooting attack on a military post at the Erez crossing point between Israel and the Gaza Strip yesterday.
The militants killed four soldiers and wounded another four before being gunned down themselves.

The al-Aqsa martyrs brigades is a radical and armed offshoot of Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat's Fatah political party.
