Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, by his own admission has limited understanding of the “financial stuff” but he is thrilled as the GST Bill would help India turn into world's biggest single market.

Mumbai: The biggest tax reform since Independence - GST Bill - was approved after a seven-hour debate in the Upper House with all the 203 votes in favour of the historic legislation on Wednesday.

The Rajya Sabha witnessed an unusual camaraderie between the party in power and the opposition. The nation cheered for the Bill and among the millions who hailed the reform is none other than Shah Rukh Khan.

The Bollywood superstar, by his own admission has limited understanding of the “financial stuff” but he is thrilled as it would help India into into world's biggest single market.
