Chhaggan Bhujbal today complimented the state government for

Kashmir, leading to a change in the overall scenario.
I am happy to see the revival of tourism in a big way.
Mughal gardens are humming with tourists that gave a hope of
good days ahead, Bhujbal, who arrived here this morning, told after meeting Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed.
Bhujbal, who is visiting the valley after five years,
appreciated the efforts of the government in bringing a change
in the overall scenario.
For improvement in the overall security , Mufti
gave credit to the people of the state who, he said, have
developed a stake in peace.
He said the visits of the President, Prime Minister,
Congress Chief Sonia Gandhi, over 300 MPs and the Congress
Chief Ministers' conclave in Srinagar have sent the right
message across the country resulting in a large number of
tourists and Amarnath pilgrims visiting the valley, majority
of them being from Gujarat and Maharashtra.
It is the confidence of the people and a change in their mindset that has made the real difference, Mufti said, adding the coalition government was expanding and upgrading infrastructure at tourist spots to provide better facilities to the tourists.
He said the two-day meeting of inter-state council to be held at Srinagar from august 27, first time away from New Delhi, would also help in creating a more congenial atmosphere for promotion of tourism in the state.
