Dara Singh's wife Surjit Kaur Randhawa dies at 72

New Delhi: Bollywood's legendary late actor Dara Singh's wife Surjit Kaur Randhawa breathed her last on Tuesday, reportedly.

The 72-year-old Surjit was battling cancer for 9 long years, reports suggest. "Singh's wife passed away this morning. She had cancer and fought it for nine years," a statement issued here on behalf of his son Vindu Dara Singh said.

She was legendary wrestler-turned-actor Dara Singh's second wife and mother of actor Vindu. The last rites will be performed at 6 PM this evening at Juhu crematorium in suburban Mumbai.

The 83-year-old wrestler-actor had passed away in 2012 following a cardiac arrest. Vindu took to Twitter and shared a rather emotional message for fans.
