Paris, June 14: French goalkeeper Fabien Barthez says he wants to stay with English champions Manchester United. Barthez, training with the French squad for this month's Confederations Cup, told sports daily L'Equipe on Friday he was enjoying his time at Old Trafford. "Everything is going well for me," he said. "I am 100 per cent relaxed. No, 200 per cent relaxed.
"I still feel very well at Manchester, so I stay over there, there is no problem."
The 31-year-old, whose contract runs until 2006, has made a number of high-profile blunders since joining United from Monaco for 7.8 million pounds ($13.05 million) three years ago.
He was dropped from the team for the final three premier league games of last season as United clinched their eighth title in 11 seasons, prompting speculation that he may be sold.
