The life and achievements of Kumar, who was discharged from hospital in Mumbai today following a brief illness, were celebrated in his home town by the Tourism Corporation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in collaboration with Cultural Heritage Council and Peshawar Press Club.

Also present at the ceremony were Nasir Hussain (President Press Club), Younas Qiyasi (President Cultural Heritage Council), Shakeel Wahidullah (Cultural Heritage Council) and Director Archaeology & Museums Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Abdul Samad.
