Pakistan government has taken a team of foreign media correspondents to the Line of Control to show what it claimed was the devastation caused by Indian firing in the past six days.
Two more civilians were also claimed to have been killed on Wednesday. A media team comprising correspondents of CNN, BBC, AFP, Reuters, New York Times and MBC were taken to the LoC in the Chokothi sub sector of PoK, a media release said.
The group was given detailed briefings about the latest situation on the LoC and the continued, unprovoked firing by the Indian Army, targeting the innocent civilian population using heavy mortars and medium artillery, it said. Meanwhile, media reports claimed that the death toll in the six-day firing has gone up to 15 as two more civilians were killed on Wednesday.
