Washington: Rapper Drake and Rihanna have paid a special tribute to their fan Megan Flores who died after losing her battle with cancer.
As soon as Flores' death news broke, Drake, 29, and Rihanna, 28, took a break from touring and traveling to pay tribute to their fan.
Taking to his Instagram, the 'Hotline Bling' hit-maker shared a picture of his fan and wrote, "Rest in peace my angel. I know heaven is celebrating today. Thank you for the moments and emotions we share I am blessed to have known you in this lifetime. @ovomegann."
Remembering the time, when Drake introduced her to Megan, Rihanna said "She's inspired me so much with her strength and her perspective on life! So fearless and kind!"
"It's heavy news that I can't slide in your DMs anymore like I used to!! There was always a smile waiting for me there! You brightened any day! Rest up baby girl! We will miss you," she added.
The Florida native, who was reportedly battling terminal cancer, met the artists earlier in March through the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
