Arsenal won the English FA Cup final here Saturday, defeating Chelsea 2-0 at the Millennium Stadium.
Second-half goals from Ray Parlour and Swedish international Freddie Ljungberg secured a victory which leaves Arsene Wenger's side on the brink of a league and cup double.
Arsenal need only a point from their remaining two fixtures to be crowned champions, and can now win their second double in four years when they face Manchester United at Old Trafford on Wednesday.
Arsenal's first goal came on 70 minutes following a swift break out of their own half.
A neat pass from France international Sylvain Wiltord found Parlour, who advanced on goal before curling a superb right-foot shot over Chelsea keeper Carlo Cudicini, who got a hand to the strike but to no avail.
Nine minutes later and Ljungberg made the game safe, bending a wonderful shot round Cudicini from the edge of the area to seal Arsenal's eighth FA Cup victory.
The win erased the pain of defeat in last year's final against Liverpool for Arsenal, when they led until the dying minutes before losing 2-1 after two goals from Michael Owen.
