New Delhi, July 01: Pakistani High Commissioner designate Aziz Ahmad Khan officially takes charge today. Khan arrived in India yesterday through the Wagah border with Pakistan. Khan will succeed Ashraf Jehangir Qazi.
On his arrival Pakistan hoped that talks with India would begin soon.
Khan further added that his country was ready to hold a dialogue with India at any level, any time and any place for a peaceful resolution of all issues, including Jammu and Kashmir.
Khan, had earlier served in India as the Deputy High Commissioner in the late eighties.
Shiv Shankar Menon, who has been named as India`s new High Commissioner to Pakistan, is expected to take up his new assignment in the third week of July.
