Shimla, June 09: Noted poet Raminder Jakhu of Haryana, Chander Trikha, director, Hindi Sahitya Akadami, Haryana, and Mathura Dutt Pandey of Chandigarh have been selected by the Shimla-based All India Artists Association for its prestigious ‘Balraj Sahni National Award-2002-03’ for their contribution to promote Urdu, Hindi and Sanskrit literature. Dr Saroj Bhardwaj, lecturer in Government College, Mandi, will get the award for her book ‘Shri Aurbindo's evolutionary vision.’ Creative Hindi writer award has gone to K R Bharti, land acquisition officer, Shimla. According to announcement by the association president Sudershan Gour, Vipin Pubby, editor, Indian Express, V P Parbhakar, former bureau chief, English tribune and adviser of Dainik Bhaskar, Chandigarh and V K Jalali of Uni, Delhi, have been selected for awards for excellence in journalism.
