Sri Lankan PM on a three-day India trip
Chennai,Aug 23: Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe arrived here on Friday on a three-day visit, which will take him to the temple towns of Kancheepuram, Tirupati, and also Hyderabad and Bangalore.
Chennai,Aug 23: Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe arrived here on Friday on a three-day visit, which will take him to the temple towns of Kancheepuram, Tirupati, and also Hyderabad and Bangalore.
He is expected to meet Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu in Hyderabad and Karnataka Chief Minister S M Krishna in Bangalore.
On his arrival here, Wickremasinghe left straight for Kancheepuram, where he is scheduled to call on the Kanchi Sankaracharya, Jayendra Saraswati. From there, he will proceed to Tirupati, before leaving for Hyderabad and Bangalore.
Wickremasinghe, who is here on a private visit, will attend India's former High Commissioner to Sri Lanka Gopalakrishan Gandhi's daughter's wedding in Bangalore on Sunday.
