New Delhi: If recent buzz is to be believed, the `Raanjhanaa` actor Dhanush has replaced actor Vicky Kaushal in Bejoy Nambiar`s upcoming film, a remake of the 1988 hit Tamil film `Agni Natchathiram`.
The leading daily Mumbai Mirror quoted a source, as saying, "Vicky has walked out of the film citing date issues, but there were reports that it was basically because he was unhappy with the actress who they were thinking of casting opposite him."
"But basically it will be filmed from August to October in Mumbai as the makers want to shoot during the monsoons and Vicky has already committed his dates to another film during this period and hence had no option but to drop out of the film," the insider added.
Reportedly, the `Wazir` filmmaker has made some changes in film`s script to make it simple and suitable for Dhanush.
Venkatesh Prabhu Kasthuri Raja aka Dhanush, who made his Bollywood debut with Anand L. Rai`s `Raanjhanaa` opposite Sonam Kapoor, shot to fame instantly with his popular song `Why this Kolaveri Di`.
The upcoming remake would be his third bollywood film after `Raanjhanaa` and `Shamitabh`.
