New Delhi, June 05: The country’s largest car maker, Maruti Udyog Limited, has presented a dividend cheque of Rs 19.84 crore to the government. Heavy Industries Minister Subodh Mohite, who received the cheque from MUL joint managing director J Sugimori on Tuesday, said complacency should not come in the way of making India's largest car maker, Maruti Udyog, a global auto giant.

Mohite said efforts should be made to tap the export market while proper thrust should be made for quality improvement and product development.
He wished the company success for its public issue slated to hit the market on June 12.
MUL announced a 40 per cent rise in profits to Rs 146.40 crore for 2002-03 and a 30 per cent dividend with a total outgo of Rs 42.70 crore.
