Imphal, Sept 15: Three militants of Kuki Revolutionary Army (KRA) were shot dead in an encounter with Assam Rifle personnel at Sanakeithel area in Ukhrul district of Manipur, official sources said today. The AR personnel of 10th sector raided an underground hideout at Sanakeithel area, about 30 km North East of here, and in the encounter three KRA activists were killed yesterday, sources said. One light machine gun, one pistol and two grenades and other incriminating documents were recovered from the spot, sources said, adding some militants managed to escape during the encounter.
