New Delhi: Indian Air Force day was officially established on October 8th in 1932 and, since then, it is celebrated by the countrymen every year to honour our Air warriors who guard Indian airspace.
Today, Indian Air Force celebrates its 84th anniversary. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also saluted all the Air Force personnel and their families. He thanked them for protecting the nation's skies.
You will be amazed to know that numerous Bollywood films have been made to portray the real-life struggle of an Air force pilot like- 'Vijeta', 'Agnipankh', 'Rang De Basanti' to name a few.
