Here's how Priyanka Chopra plans to celebrate Diwali in New York

The 'Dostana' diva will also be making her Hollywood debut next year in Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron starrer 'Baywatch'.

New Delhi: The whole nation, including celebrities, are geared up to celebrate the auspicious festival of Diwali. But, apparently, Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra will not be able to witness its festivities in India this year, all thanks to her American television series 'Quantico'.

In order to make the most of Diwali, the 34-year-old star has planned something special for her friends in New York. And, yes, it revolves around Bollywood.

“The actress has planned to host a Diwali bash at her New York house for her Quantico crew and especially requested the DJ to play the Bollywood numbers,” Deccan Chronicle quoted a source as saying.

Priyanka Chopra, who was seen essaying an FBI agent named Alex Parrish in the first season of the American drama series, is now portraying a CIA agent in its second season, which airs in India as well. 

She is currently busy shooting for the second season in New York.
