New Mexico, May 24: About 300 firefighters are fighting to contain a fire near the town of Corona, New Mexico in Cibola National Forest. Two homes and communication structures were destroyed by the fire. Several crews of firefighters already on the scene were pulled out for the night because darkness and winds posed a significant danger. Winds in the area were reported to gust up to 65 miles per hour. So far, crews have only been able to contain about 10 percnet of the fire. Officials now says the cause of the blaze was a campfire which was not properly extinguished. Bureau Report
