Thapa in Pak to discuss SAARC summit arrangements
Islamabad Dec 01: Nepalese Prime Minister Surya Bahadur Thapa arrived here today on a two-day visit to discuss bilateral issues as well as arrangements for the SAARC summit to be held here next month.

Thapa, who is also the chairman of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC), was received here by Foreign Minister Khurshid Mehmood Kasuri.
Pakistan foreign office sources said the Nepal Prime Minister would meet President General Pervez Musharraf and Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Jamali later today.
Kasuri and Commerce Minister Humayun Akhtar will also call on him during his stay.
The visit comes almost a month ahead of the SAARC summit and amid signs of improvement in ties between Pakistan and India.
SAARC comprises Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, The Maldives, Pakistan, India and Sri Lanka.
