Is Salman Khan - Aamir Khan friendship over?

Salman Khan gave a fitting response to friend Aamir Khan's rude remarks, reports suggest.

Mumbai: Fans of both Salman Khan and Aamir Khan could swear by their friendship and take inspiration from their camaraderie. Both are superstars, onscreen rivals, yet in the personal lives, shared a great bond. But the same seems to have hit a rock.

According to a report in in.movie.yahoo.com, Salman and Aamir exchanged a not so friendly conversation and thereby allowed a crack to develop between their old friendship.

This is how the incident unfolded according to the report:

Aamir praised Salman for his film ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ at a party thrown at his Bandra residence and said that had the latter shown so much maturity earlier, he would have had many more such wonderful films to his credit.

The ‘PK’ star apparently took a dig at Salman by saying that he doesn’t worry about the script or the story and gets things easily. Salman didn’t take these comments lightly. He said he may not be as hardworking as Aamir but at least gives credit to others, thereby taking a jibe at the ‘Dhoom 3’ star, who has had ugly showdowns with his directors/ writers in the past.

However, either of the two superstars hasn’t yet spoken about this issue.

Here’s hoping the two are still friends.
