Mumbai: A couple of tweets by ace comedian Kapil Sharma citing corruption in Mumbai’s civic body – BMC – Friday morning evoked massive political reactions. Through his tweets, the comedian-actor has accused the BMC of bribery and questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi about “Acche Din”.
BJP leader Ram Kadam, acknowledged Kapil’s tweets but wondered why he did not lodge a formal complaint right when the incident happened.

Soon after Kapil’s tweets made headlines, the BMC assured Sharma of strict action against the person who asked for bribe.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis too responded to Sharma’s tweets by asking him to provide all information and assured him strictest action against the culprit.
