New Delhi: After ace comedian, Kapil Sharma voiced his trouble related to the existence of corruption in Mumbai's civic body on Twitter, BMC has wakened up and addressed the media shortly after it drew a lot of attention with political parties jumping in the war of words.
According to ANI, Manohar Pawar, chief of vigilance was quoted as saying, “Kapil ji's allegation is very serious, have asked him to give name of person who asked for bribe”.
“Will strongly act against the concerned officials if they are found guilty. There has been no formal complaint from Kapil Sharma till now”, he added.
Kapil took to Twitter and accused the BMC of bribery. He even questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Acche Din' and tagged him in the tweet as well.
