Kareena Kapoor Khan married Saif Ali Khan – here’s why

Kareena Kapoor’s latest film ‘Ki and Ka’ promises to break gender stereotypes and present to the Indian audience an unusual onscreen couple.

Mumbai:  They have been married for over three-and-a-half years now. They make a great couple and look irresistibly hot together. We are talking about - Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan – who are madly in love with each other.

While promoting her next – ‘Ki and Ka’ – opposite Arjun Kapoor, Kareena revealed why she married Saif.

Kareena wanted to work and earn money all her life. Saif had no issues with Kareena’s decision to work even after marriage. This was the reason why Kareena married Saif besides being in love with him.

"Today I am a wife and all my life I will work and earn money and my husband will support. That is the only condition (on which) I married Saif," Kareena said.

Interestingly, Kareena’s latest film ‘Ki and Ka’ promises to break gender stereotypes and present to the Indian audience an unusual onscreen couple. In the film Arjun and Kareena play the man and the wife, but ironically their occupations paint a different picture – Kabir (Arjun) plays a homemaker while Kareena, an ambitious woman who dreams to spearhead the corporate world.
