Vellore, Apr 12: The future course of action to be taken by the opposition parties against the 'undemocratic dictatorship' of the Jayalaithaa regime in Tamil Nadu, would soon be announced by DMK president, M Karunanidhi, Union Minister of State for finance, Gingee Ramachandran said today. The minister, speaking to reporters outside Vellore central jail, where he met MDMK general secretary Vaiko, said that he, along with Union Minister of State for non-conventional energy, M Kannappan and MDMK presidium chairman L Ganesan, had already held discussions in this regard with Karunanidhi.
To a query, he said the review committee on Pota, appointed by the Centre, was yet to commence its functioning.
Vaiko is currently lodged in Vellore central jail after being arrested under Pota last year.
