New Delhi: Eminent danseuse Mrinalini Sarabhai, who was admitted to hospital on Wednesday, breathed her last this morning at 10 am, reportedly. The legendary classical dancer was suffering from old age related health problems.
She was admitted to a city-based hospital in Ahmedabad, as per a report in TOI.com, and was kept in the Intensive Critical Care Unit (ICCU). She passed away in her home in Ahmedabad this morning, reportedly. She was 97-year-old and was awarded with the Padma Bhushan in 1992 and the Padma Shri in 1965.
She was married to physicist Vikram Sarabhai and has two children Kartikeya and Mallika.
