Rajkot, Oct 05: Atleast 28 people attending a marriage function were admitted at the Civil Hospital here and treated for `food poisoining' yesterday, official sources said today. Rajkot district collector J P Gupta told a news agency that condition of all the affected persons including women and children was reported to be improving today and some were also discharged.

The wedding was taking place in Jangleshwar area of the city last night and the affected persons were rushed to the Civil Hospital following complaints of vomiting and uneasiness. He said that preliminary investigation revealed that those affected had reportedly eaten a 'mava' item that had come from Dhoraji town of the district.
