Jaipur, July 07: Vishwa Hindu Parishad vice president Acharya Giriraj Kishore today said the organisation's movement for construction of Ram Temple in Ayodhya had nothing to do with the coming assembly and Lok Sabha elections. "Our movement has nothing do with the polls," the Acharya told reporters here. He said the VHP would create public awareness to put pressure on all political parties to pave the legislative way for temple construction if all other avenues fail. Commenting on the rejection of Kanchi seer's proposal by the All India Muslim Personal Law Board, the Acharya said Muslims had lost an opportunity to bridge the divide between the two communities.
"Hindus are seeking only three temples back out of 3,000 demolished by Muslim invaders," he said adding, "Movement to get back Kashi and Mathura temples would also continue." Bureau Report
