EC directs CEO, Chattisgarh to remove hoardings
New Delhi, Oct 29: The Election Commission today directed the Chief Electoral Officer of Chattisgarh to remove all hoardings in the state highlighting achievements of the Ajit Jogi government.

all hoardings in the state highlighting achievements of the
Ajit Jogi government.
Though the hoarding sites were contracted by the state
government, these sites were given to Congress party after the
model code of conduct came into force, EC sources said here.
Seeking a report from the CEO as to when the contracts were awarded to congress, the Election Commission also asked the authorities to comply with the model code of conduct more strictly.
