Joan died September 4 at the age of 81, a week after hospitalised following cardiac and respiratory arrest during a throat surgery.

She used to host the TV show 'Fashion Police', which will now feature Melissa, along with Kelly Osbourne, Giuliana Rancic and George Kotsiopoulos paying homage to her, reports suggest.

The 90-minute special titled 'Fashion Police: Celebrating Joan' will feature behind-the-scenes footage, including never-before-aired moments of Joan candidly joking with the cast and cracking up the studio audience.

It will also include clips of some of the incredible guests from the worlds of fashion, entertainment, sports and more that joined Joan on the 'Fashion Police' stage.

Melissa, 46, and the other co-hosts will additionally share their personal stories with Joan.
