United Nations, Dec 09: Deploring the recent wave of terrorist strikes in Iraq which left many people dead or injured, the UN Security Council has urged all member states to cooperate in the efforts to nab those behind the attacks. In a statement read out by this month's President, Ambassador Stefan Tafrov of Bulgaria, the council condemned the attacks "in the strongest terms" and sent its condolences to the victims and their families. "Members of the Security Council urge all states to fully cooperate in the efforts to find and bring to justice the perpetrators, organizers and sponsors of these attacks," the statement said.
