England, July 01: David Beckham faces the final hurdle before completing his £25m move to Real Madrid when he undergoes a medical on Tuesday. The England captain will be officially unveiled as the La Liga champion's latest signing the following day, assuming he comes through the four-hour work-out.
Beckham has already been given a taste of the frenzy surrounding his transfer after a Spanish health company paid £250,000 to sponsor his medical, which will be screened live on Real Madrid TV.
The 28-year-old will be given a police escort to the Bernabeu for the fitness tests, which will also be beamed around the globe by broadcasters who have bought the rights.
Beckham will be presented to the media on 2 July at the home of the Real Madrid basketball team - the 5,000 capacity Raimundo Saporta.
