New ad featuring Vir Das gives fitting response to commercials that sexually objectify women – Watch

Mumbai: We have often seen women being sexually objectified in commercials and films. More often than not, women in ‘sexist’ ads are not consumers of the products that are endorsed – for instance a woman in a men’s deo ad or a shaving cream’s ad is often used as a “subject”. Here’s a new commercial featuring actor Vir Das that gives a fitting response to such sexist ads.

In the ad that ‘respects women’, we can see Vir Das taking a jibe at all those commercials that sexually objectify women.
