Los Angeles: Actor Nicolas Cage has been roped in to star in the upcoming independent thriller "Looking Glass", which will go on floors this fall.
Music video and commercials director Dori Oskowitz will direct the film from a script by Jerry Rapp and Matthew Wilder, reports variety.com.
The story of "Looking Glass" follows a couple who, after experiencing a tragic loss, purchases a desert motel only to discover a series of disturbing, unexplained events that take place within one of the frequently requested rooms.
Cage can currently be seen in Oliver Stone's "Snowden" as Hank Forrester, a former US intelligence officer.
