Khanna, Feb 26: In a bizarre incident, a man attacked a woman with a syringe allegedly filled with HIV-positive blood to settle old scores in Punjab, police said on Wednesday. The man, Dr Bahadur Singh, went to the house of the victim Swaranjit Kaur in village Kotla, near Khanna, and tried to inject her with the syringe.
The woman received a scratch from the syringe and in the melee, it reportedly fell down, police said. The accused also fled from the scene.
The woman was admitted to the hospital by her husband where her blood sample was tested positive. She and her husband reportedly left the hospital without informing the authorities, police said. Bureau Report
