New Delhi: One of the noted lyricists in Tamil film industry, N Annamalai breathed his last on Tuesday night, reportedly. The 49-year-old lyricist is said to have succumbed to a sudden heart attack, according to BollywoodLife.com.
Annamalai got his big break as a lyricist in 'Kummalam' which released in 2003, followed by a number of hit songs in Kollywood. The noted lyricist wrote for films such as 'Vattaikaran','Velayudham','Naan' and 'Uthamaputhiran'.
Music Director Vijay Antony, who worked with Annamalai in many films even took to Twitter and expressed his grief over the news.

The lyricist is survived by his wife and daughter. Report suggests that respected Tamil lyricist's body will be brought to his house on Thursday morning.
