Oh no! Farhan Akhtar and Adhuna Akhtar end their 15-year-old marriage

 New Delhi: Another Bollywood divorce alert! Bollywood stylish couple Farhan Akhtar and Adhuna Akhtar, who were married for 15 long years have finally decided to call it quits!

The couple who met on the sets of Farhan's directorial debut 'Dil Chahta Hai' have mutually decided to separate.

According to a report in Mid-Day, the couple have cited “growing apart” from each other over the years to be one of the prime reasons of their separation.  

An official statement was released by the couple read: "This is to announce that we, Adhuna and Farhan, have mutually and amicably decided to separate. Our children remain our priority and it is immensely important to us, as responsible parents, that they be protected from unwarranted speculation and public glare. We sincerely request that we are given the privacy that is required at this time to move forward in a dignified manner." 

It is also believed that wife Adhuna was barely to be seen in any events attended by Farhan of late. She wasn't also there during Farhan's 2016 release 'Wazir'.  

The couple were married for nearly 15 years. They had tied the knot in 2000.
