Mangalore, Feb 11: As many as 19 ancient Panchaloha idols were stolen from Srilaxmivenkatesha Temple at Bhatkal, about 160 kms from here, police said today. The idol of presiding deity Sri Laxmivenkatesha was also found missing from the temple yesterday, police said, adding, some of the idols were more than 500 years old and belonged to Kashimath.
Value of the missing idols were yet to be assessed, they said. Bureau Report
