Hyderabad, Nov 24: The Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) today said it would convene an emergency meeting beginning today to take stock of the situation arising out of the allegation made by all rounder Vanka Prathap that he was asked to pay money in exchange for a place in the India 'A' side. "We have convened an emergency executive body meeting which will take place in two days to take stock of the situation," HCA president M Ranga Reddy told here today. "Since the cricketer had blamed the entire HCA, we will call all the members and take a collective decision before making a statement," Reddy said. HCA secretary Shiv Lal Yadav, however, would not be able to attend the meeting as he is accompanying the Indian cricket team on its tour of Australia. HCA joint secretary M V Sridhar brushed off the allegation made by Prathap as "vague" and "without specific points".
