New Delhi: Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who is also the brand ambassador for 'Swachh Bharat Mission (Clean India Mission) was recently seen in a video against open defecation in villages.
Interestingly, the video has been launched as a part of Centre’s Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan initiative, asking people to join the movement and make India a better place. Lauding the megastar's efforts, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to Twitter and shared the video link of Bachchan's video.
In the video, Bachchan senior addresses the problems related to open defecation in villages and how it hampers the health and hygiene of the villagers. He stresses on the importance of built-in washrooms and making India a swachch place to live.
PM Modi even urged the people to make the country open defecation free.
