According to ANI, "Are we short of artists in our country? Why do we need Pakistani artists to work in our films? I don't understand. Jawans are fighting for us at borders. What will happen if they decide to put down their weapons? Who'll guard borders? Salman Khan?"

Hinting at the 50-year-old actor's statement that backed Pakistani celebrities, he further said, "these artists should realise 'Nation first'. If they have so much problem,we will ban their movies too."

During a recent press conference, Salman Khan said, "They (Pakistani actors) are artists, not terrorists. It`s the government who gives them permits and visas."

The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena was the first to ask Pakistani artistes to leave India. Later, the Indian Motion Pictures Producers Association decided to ban Pakistani artistes from working in Indian movies.
