Srinagar, Aug 09: 14 people, including nine militants and three security personnel, were killed in Jammu and Kashmir where security forces foiled an infiltration bid and ultras launched grenade attacks on police lines and on the house of a ruling PDP MLA since last night, a police spokesman said today. Two Lashker-e-toiba militants, members of a suicide squad tasked to strike on the eve of 'Raksha bandhan' and Independence Day, were shot dead by army while trying to infiltrate into this side of the line of control in Poonch district late this afternoon, he said.
