Los Angeles, Jan 08: "Indiana Jones" star Harrison Ford can finally propose to Calista Flockhart if he wants to, after reportedly receiving a divorce in his 20-year marriage.
Ford has finally divorced screenwriter Melissa Mathison, whom he married in March 1983, the television program reported.
The two met on the set of the 1979 film "Apocalypse Now”.
They announced their separation in November 2000, filing for legal separation the following August. Mathison had asked a court for custody of their two children, but the divorce papers cited by the report did not say who had received custody.
Ford also has two children from a previous marriage. He has dated actress Calista Flockhart, 39, best known for starring in the "Ally McBeal" series on television, for two years.
Ford, 61, known for his quiet tough-guy film persona, has made 35 movies, 10 of which have notched up ticket sales of more than 100 million dollars at the box office.
His movies "Star Wars," its sequels "The Return of the Jedi" and "The Empire Strikes Back" and the Indiana Jones film "Raiders of the Lost Ark" are four of the top 20 top grossing movies in Hollywood history. Bureau Report
