A source under the condition of anonymity revealed the details of the chargesheet to Mumbai Mirror.

On Wednesday, the CBI charge sheet, submitted graphic details of the case to a sessions court.

“ Jiah was four weeks pregnant when she informed Pancholi about it. The couple then approached a physician who prescribed some medicines for medical termination of pregnancy (MTP) but that didn't help. The couple then approached another doctor and finally a gynaecologist who prescribed a stronger and more effective combination of drugs.”

Jiah suffered haemorrhage after she took those medicines. She reportedly called up Sooraj for help as she was in pain. Sooraj then called up a gynaecologist who suggested him to take Jiah to the hospital. Since he feared his relationship with Jiah would become public and hence decided to deal with the medical complication on his own.

“He extricated the foetus and disposed of it in the toilet”, the charge sheet alleges.

The complications and the subsequent abortion drained Jiah emotionally. Sooraj started avoiding her to focus on his career and this took a toll on Jiah’s emotional health.
